We will demonstrate how easy it is to organise a calendar, create a text file, give a presentation or use a common app like Facebook. We'll also show users can have full Windows access and utilise the new Computer Control access tool. We will explore how Communicator 5 provides independence and control over features like having all key settings accessible, setting up a keyboard once to change it everywhere you might need it in your system as well as editing your own homepage.

We will demonstrate how to get up and running quickly using standard and table-based templates as well as how to personalise them using activity settings. Finally, we will demonstrate how to manage students’ work and track usage and performance.

There will be an outline of activities included in both programs as well as information on how to assign and use them in any learning environment.

Aided language input involves pairing speech with graphic symbols to teach symbolic communication. An often overlooked aspect of aided language input is attributing meaning to non-symbolic behaviors. This webinar will review the literature on these practices with pre-symbolic communicators. Then the session will focus on aided language input with core vocabulary as part of naturalistic interventions to improve outcomes for pre-symbolic communicators.
